I bring over a decade of experience as a director of photography and camera operator. I specialise in creating a tone and feel for a scene through lighting and dynamic camera moves. I bring a deep understanding of visual language, pacing, and tone; all essential whether you're telling a story for the screen or designing for real-time engines. Having worked in VP volume stages and traditional locations, I thrive in both cutting-edge and classic production pipelines.

I’m based in Stockport, within easy reach of northern cities including Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, Sheffield and Leeds. I also have a base in London for shoots and regularly travel across the UK for filming.

Being just 15 minutes from Manchester International Airport, I can also pack and travel for overseas shoots. My kit is covered by a carnet, so it can be taken abroad legally and hassle-free.

You can hire me with or without kit, or we can work with a combination of hired gear and my own. I’m happy to create lighting plans, prepare kit lists, and liaise directly with hire houses to organise delivery and collection.

If your project requires a team, I can also crew jobs up. I have a trusted network of experienced freelancers I regularly collaborate with, including producers, directors, ADs, ACs, gaffers and sparks. I’m equally comfortable working solo on smaller shoots or as part of a larger crew on more complex productions.
